Let me begin by thanking the following publications and their editors for their support of my writing on Medium and also for sharing inspiration from their storytelling.

I want to express my gratitude to Patsy Fergusson at Fourth Wavewhich was the first publication I submitted my first story called Can I Call You Black? a two-part article that was boosted. So, thank you for the Boost dear Medium staff.

Next, my thanks go to JoAnn Ryan and her editing team at Globetrotters for helping me share my love of travel. The first story I submitted to Globetrotters is titled, Hola: My First Visit to the Siesta Country! and it was boosted.

Last but not least, my gratitude goes to Nancy Peckenham and Ann Litts for accepting my story about the often feared but inevitable facet of life that is aging. My first submission to their publication Crow’s Feet was a story titled: My First Senior Discount. The story got lots of love from readers and was boosted and also shared on their Twitter account for further audience reach. I appreciate it very much.

I have linked the full list of all the stories below.

Every story that I write takes a little bit out of me but also gives me something in return. Some days, I don’t even know what I am going to write about, but this platform called Medium has allowed me to keep writing and sharing.

My many thanks to all of you readers who make us writers. I take comfort in knowing that my stories might have a slight impact on someone else’s life, and I never take it for granted because I know it’s a gift not to be squandered.

Gifts are to be shared and every one of us has been given a gift or more than one gift. Gifts are blessings and I try not to hoard mine because it’s not mine to keep. It’s from grace, and grace is unmerited favor.

I love what Wayne Dyer said:

“Don’t die with your music still inside you. Listen to your intuitive inner voice and find what passion stirs your soul.”

Identify what’s your gift and start sharing it with the world. The world is a better place with you in it, and we can all learn from each other’s stories. Your story matters because who you are matters.

So, thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me share my gift of writing with the world.

All in all, these last four months of sharing my thoughts, lived experiences and perspectives have been wonderful. I hope you find inspiration in them or simply enjoy them! If you are tickled in any way by any of the stories, don’t keep the good feelings only for yourself! Go ahead and share. Sharing is caring.

Thank you again for your support. May the new year 2024 bring you the joy, peace, and happiness you deserve.

Until next time, happy holidays!
